Our family celebrates a birthday this weekend. My courageous husband and dedicated father to our daughter. I am grateful for and admire so much about this man, namely his courage, quest for knowledge, and dedication to his family and profession. I gain strength from his courage.

I remember when I was furthering my education when Sara was in elementary school. After work I would drive with friends to a nearby university for evening classes. I so appreciated the fact that he was giving quality time to our daughter, the quality time that comes from a loving parent. His support and commitment through this particular time was especially comforting. It was a joy to hear about their time together. It made it easier for me that I was not missed.

Happy Birthday, Bobby, my husband and partner in life.
