I am sorry. I apologize. Please forgive me. These are just a few of the expressions one can say to right a wrong. Parents teach their children early on about this life lesson and also try to model forgiveness . Teachers do the same except with a larger audience. Ministers model this gift and it fills many a sermon. Couples and individuals strive to model this as well. There is something cleansing about looking someone in the eye, maybe even touching them and saying I am sorry; would you forgive me? There is much freedom in saying the words I forgive. In that experience ego is a big time loser because the beauty of the heart flourishes. I am so grateful for these words of apology and forgiveness.
In this image I was messing around with my camera one night and caught this precious duo in a cute pose. We cannot remember the circumstances of this look on Belle’s face. This image expresses the feeling of requesting an apology. With a look like that who could not forgive?
