Gratitude Photography Project 2014
Read MoreIt has been enjoyable sharing my gratitude for living at a higher altitude this month in the images chosen and the thoughts expressed. People are drawn to different parts of this beautiful country. Our family enjoys traveling to different areas, but it is the mountains we call home. Somehow when absorbed in a present thought or issue it just takes a look up to see the beauty of the pines, hills and mountains and a feeling of peace and thankfulness fills the space once taken by a worry. The scenery reminds me to put things in the proper perspective; life is short and precious.
This image of the mountain lake framed by wildflowers and rugged peaks was taken in Glacier National Park. This park is a hiker’s delight. There are so many trails worth hiking and roads worth driving to absorb the beauty of this park. Gratitude fills my soul for the natural beauty and the gift of being there in the moment.
He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.~Psalm 23:2-3
Peace.
