Read MorePassion is a feeling that tells you: this is the right thing to do. Nothing can stand in my way. It doesn't matter what anyone else says. This feeling is so good that it cannot be ignored. I'm going to follow my bliss and act upon this glorious sensation of joy.― Wayne W. Dyer
We thoroughly enjoyed a beautiful movie this weekend, About Time. One take away for me was to live with passion. We walk through this life once and everyday we have a chance to make our mark on it and act as if this was the last day of our life or the last encounter we might have with a person. Somehow as we age we can lose our thrill for the simple things; we can lose our childlike love of simple pleasures; and we can often replace it with conformity. And all too often we can lose our passion and zest for life. I am grateful to be reminded of how precious this life is and the short time we have to love and live.
I captured this image on the spur of the moment at a picnic with friends in a downtown park. I spotted this guy coming and ran to where I could capture him. I did ask if I could take his photo even though he was in a public park and that is when he gave me the thumb up. I see his thumb up now and it represents to me the joy and passion in life, daring to be a little unique, and providing a smile along the way.
You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching, love like you'll never be hurt, sing like there's nobody listening, and live like it's heaven on earth. ― William W. Purkey, educator
