Read MoreWe enjoy living where there are seasons and these past few days we have moved through a beautiful warm fall to arctic cold with snow. It seems like winter is barging through the door early. Although the level of snow received was minimal the combination of light snow and cold temperatures made the walls of our home beckon me to stay. Cooking, reading, catching up on my to-do-list, and slowing down just a bit were all worthy of my time. So it is with all this in mind that I am grateful for Mother Nature’s blast.
This morning the sun appeared after hiding for three days. The peach and the rose of sunrise over the snow covered meadow was a lovely sight. This image of our blue spruce dressed in winter white with the blue sky background gave me a smile as I waited outside for our lab this morning.
I am grateful for the sunshine this morning and the last few days of winter- like weather.
