The early moments of the day after waking are a special time of the day. The mind is fresh and open to thoughts and contemplations. It is a time of day that can hold great inspiration. It is filled with hope, peace, and goodness. Do poets do their best work at this time of day? One can get ahead of the day and be prepared to face the day with peace. This is my time of the day.

To find this level of peace at different times of the day is a gift. This image was captured in the afternoon, but it provided the peace and inspiration of the early hours of a young day. I wished I could sit by this creek and contemplate life.
I am grateful for these times of inspiration and peace in the day.
