Read MoreMany hands make a task easier and more enjoyable. Thus was the case when the request for help went out for making dog biscuits for the upcoming Alternative Gift Fair in Evergreen. Our church is one of seven faith groups to organize and staff this wonderful two day event benefitting local and worldwide nonprofits. Some beautiful hands and hearts gathered today to make dog biscuits to sell at the AGF Bake Sale. It was a pleasure to work with these wonderful women. We were fed a gourmet lunch by our resident gourmet chef, Jacque Whyte. It is truly a blessing to have such eager souls join in the preparations for these dog treats.
Thank you to Kim Williams, Cathy Tellman, Jacque Whyte, Jackie Antweiller, Sandy Drennan, Pastor Vera Guebert-Steward, and Karen Phillipe. We had a fun time mixing, measuring, laughing, and packaging.
I am grateful for helping hands and warm hearts.
“Wherever you turn, you can find someone who needs you. Even if it is a little thing, do something for which there is no pay but the privilege of doing it. Remember, you don't live in a world all of your own.”
