A sunrise centers me for the day; I see God's artwork painted across the sky and it fills me with gratitude and hope. Gratitude for the beauty and peace of this moment and hope for the day ahead. What a beautiful first sunrise of 2014! I am grateful that I slipped out of a warm bed and the arms of my warm, sleeping husband. 2013 is in the past and I am grateful for all it taught me. Happy New Year!
