My husband’s uncle had a motto and a slogan he followed in his life which was “Keep a goin’."
He did just that throughout his life with a positive attitude despite wearing a heavy cumbersome brace for his back. His example inspired us.

I admire the strength, determination and fortitude in people whose steps or movements do not cease despite pain or age. It is important to overall health and perspective to keep a purpose throughout life.

This image was captured while we were walking through the small back walkways in Dubrovnik. The charming woman was out for her morning exercise. Her steps were slow and measured but determined. She placed her free hand on the wall as she made each step. Her subtle smile here was one of greeting. I enjoy this image for many reasons. It shows courage, purpose, patience, and satisfaction. It exemplifies the spirit of "Keep a goin’.”
